October Blog Post Assignment: Communication Breakdown
Communication breakdown can occur at any time and in many different settings.
There's Group Project Anxiety: everyone has great ideas at discussion meetings, but you feel like the only one with a sense of urgency to get any actual work done. There's Discussion Frustration: whenever you engage in a discussion with your group, you feel as if your thoughts and ideas are not valued or brushed aside with no regard to your feelings.
And finally, there is just sheer information overload: why is it that after a full day of school, you feel completely drained of energy, consumed by an overwhelming need to be where people are not?
And finally, there is just sheer information overload: why is it that after a full day of school, you feel completely drained of energy, consumed by an overwhelming need to be where people are not?
We all realize that we are social creatures, but does that look the same for everyone? We all want to be heard in some way or another, to create and to explore. People are all different, making the connections and relationships with people complex.
Many corporations have invested heavily with one goal in mind: to improve interoffice communication and efficiency. So where does that begin? The communicators themselves! Knowing who you are helps you to better understand how and why you communicate the way that you do. Knowing who your co-workers (or in our case, your classmates) are can help you better understand how to communicate with them more effectively and efficiently.
Today, you will take three (3) different personality tests. These will help you better understand, not only yourself, but your fellow classmates as well. You need to take them in the proper order. When you have completed them all, you will then complete your Blog Post discussing all of your results:
1. telling us what was a surprise
2. telling us what you already knew about yourself that the test confirmed
3. telling us how the traits connect to you as a person
4. telling us a goal that you would like to work on this year (in regards to your results).
Blog example: I am an INTJ-T. This may surprise you given my choice of occupation, but I am really an introvert at heart - 100%! If I can avoid social situations, I will! If you want to sit down and have an intellectual conversation with me, I will be all for it, but if it is silly small talk, count me out and my thoughts will float in other directions. Organization and order help calm the T in me, so a 63% left brain/37% right brain result really was not much of a surprise to me. Although, I am not sure I agree with the math result! Finally, I am 86% House of Ravenclaw, the house of intelligence, curiosity, individualism and wit. This really does not surprise me. I am very big on being self-reliant in my actions and thoughts, as well as studying things and learning for myself. Now, it is your turn, tell me all about you!
I am an ENTP-T, while I expected the social result for the personality quiz, I was not expecting how completely I fell on the intuitive side of the spectrum rather than observant. However both the personality quiz and my skewing to 59% right brain affirmed my knowledge that I am heavily social and quick to start a debate on any topic, with a near even split of rationality and emotional aspects. Most of the traits the quizzes defined are fundamental to myself, how outgoing I am as well as displaying some of my typical failings. This year I hope to correct my own failings in scheduling rather than relying heavily on my bursts of activity, which has resulted in slipping up on assignments.
ReplyDeleteI am an ISTP-T. I am surprisingly turbulent and tend to be on a success driven path, feeling rewarded for completing the assignment at hand. Normally I wouldn’t notice this but looking back on the topic myself I see this particularly in sports and other games that may be quite difficult. Being right brained wasn’t too much of a surprise, but it wasn’t by much with a 41%/59% split between the two which makes sense because I like elements from both views. I’m a “Huffle Puff” (I don’t know if I spelled that right) the house of loyalty and hard work, which I think checks out, not confident though because I haven’t read the Harry Potter series.
ReplyDeleteA surprise is that I'm almost half left brained and ha;f right brained. I thought it would be one or the other but it's close. As an ENTJ I knew that I could see long term goals well and work towards them with steps. The test kinda confirmed that I was a natural born leader. The traits that the test listed connect to me through different ways. One being I'm creative and I have different solutions to different things than most people. A goal i would like to work on this year even tho it's almost over is to be a bit more considerate of people's feelings when persuading them of something.
ReplyDeleteI am an ENFJ-A which is really surprising because I don't wait till the last second for a bunch of things. I'm a big extrovert because I don't mind talking to people and getting in big groups. I also work on making sure feelings are more involved then evidence. I am 76% right-brained dominant and 24% right-brained. From every test I've taken, I've always been Gryffindor and in this quiz, i ended up being 86% Gryffindor which has stayed with every test I've ever taken. Makes sense because of Ron Wesley
ReplyDeleteadd on---One thing I want to work on this year is making sure that all of my work is done how it should be and not put anything aside
DeleteI am an ESTJ-A. This makes sense to me. Im definitely not introverted so this is right. I am a pretty observant person, and quite assertive. I need to work on being more organized.
ReplyDeleteI am 60%/40% left brained. This makes sense to me as i am more objective than imaginative and emotional. I am a Slytherin. I am definitely ambition, resourceful, and determined so this makes sense.

A goal I have this year is to get all my assignments in on time in order to not tank my grade.
ReplyDeleteI am an ESTP-T and 66% left brained. The first test said I am hard working and I could agree with that, although the hard work does not continue when I get to my house, as I can not focus on a task while I am there. The second test said I am 66% left brained which surprised me because I do not like any sort of math, and the last test I got Hufflepuff and I agree with most of the traits associated. My goal is to become more emotionally available to friends and family so I can create stronger relationships.
ReplyDeleteI would say I haven't learned anything I didn’t already know throughout the test. The test that lined up with what I think the most was the INTP Personaality test and I’d say it did a decent job describing my personality. The Different Brain Sides Quiz is interesting cause I guess try to see what mix of ideas you have but they have been proven inaccurate. The Harry Potter quiz was perfect I enjoyed it and wouldn’t take it seriously but it was fun to mess around with and I will say the test result put me a Slytherin and I can’t disagree with it. But once again these are just for fun and some things lined up but there were errors.
ReplyDeleteOf course your slytherin, you do give me slytherin vibes
DeleteThe test that surprised me the most was the first, “16 personalities”, test. My results told me that I am an INFP-T and that I have more empathy and creativity than I believe I do. The left brain or right brain test (left brain: 27%, right brain: 73%) told me what I already know, that I struggle with organization and planning. I am 86% Hufflepuff, which is the only house I can remember most of the time when I think of the Harry Potter movies/novels. These tests reinforce what I already knew about myself and explain these traits in further detail. I would like to work towards being better at managing my time efficiently so that I won’t get behind on my schoolwork and so I can have more free time.
ReplyDeleteI wasn’t surprised by any of the results since I had taken tests similar to these before but I knew I never liked to work with others and that I cant stand talking philosophical because I would lose my mind and walk away before I did something stupid. I agree with it saying I cant plan long term but rather jump head first, and I want to work with others better.
ReplyDeleteOn my personality quiz I got Adventurer. This was quite a surprise to me because I don't feel as if I am spontaneous or live life to the fullest. Although, I got 65% introvert which I feel is true because I am extremely introverted and I am shy. I got 58% observant which I definitely agree with because I often tend to sit back and watch things happen and use my thoughts a lot. I am left right balanced. This is not necessarily shocking to me, but I didn’t expect it either. After reading the 2 descriptions, it made sense to me. Something that really stood out to me about the right handed brain is that they have trouble staying focused, organized, and often tend to daydream. I can confirm this is very true and I 100% relate to this. Another thing I read about the right brain is that they have emotional intelligence and empathy. I feel like I am an emotional person and I don't see that as a bad thing because I think it’s good to have feelings. I find the left brain a little confusing and don’t really understand why I got that one but it makes more sense when it is mixed with both. Now on the last quiz, I got 84% Hufflepuff. This means I am loyal, hardworking, accepting, and fair. I agree with most of this. One goal I would like to work on is staying more organized and focused throughout the rest of the school year.
ReplyDeleteI was super surprised that I was a Gryffindor, since when I was younger my mom forced me to take a similar quiz and I was a Hufflepuff. Another thing that surprised me was the fact that i was more left brained. I did actually know i cared that much about facts and details. One thing that was confirmed however was my personality test, I already kinda knew that I was an advocate for others. I also knew about all the things in the quiz about emphasizing and caring for others. This test connected with me because I do love helping people and emphasizing with them. Maybe a goal for me for the rest of this year would be to help and care for myself sometime. I often struggle with advocating for myself. I need to find ways to help me be better while still helping others
ReplyDeleteWell I get how you ca go from being a hufflepuff to being gryffindor, when your a kid your way more kind and when you get older you probably just developed more loyal and bravery traits.
DeleteIn the first personality test, the results showed that I am an ENFP-T. Overall, I do like to interact with people. I'm very open-minded and always looking into things. I am very aware of social cus and emotions, I try to avoid negative emotions over all. I'm very flexible when it comes to things changing throughout my day even if I don't like it I can usually adjust fairly well. I'm eager to improve but sometimes I like to stay the same because I like how things are. I'm almost straight down the middle of the brain test but I am more of a left-brained person with a ratio 53%(left) to 47%(right) so I am more of a technical person which somewhat contradicts the first test. Finally, I am a Ravenclaw, but each test gives different answers usually, it says I'm in Hufflepuff which one the runner-up, but I never thought intelligence was more dominant than kindness.
ReplyDeleteI am a ESTJ-A. I've considered myself as introverted, however the test says it's only by 4% that I am extroverted. I’ve known that I am generally a very logical thinking person. Which is also why I am 65% left brained. All of these things I already knew just based on tests I've took and knowing how I function. I am also Gryffindor 84%. Staying on top of things has been my goal all year.
ReplyDeleteI am an ISFP-T which really isn’t a surprise because I am a really closed off person and prefer to keep to myself. I can sit down and talk with new people for a short period of time however once my social battery is drained then I go off on my own. This test just really proved how much of an introvert I really am since I scored a 93% . I am Left and Right balanced, after reading through both descriptions I agree that I fall under both sections evenly. A big thing that called out to me was on the left side it says “Tendency to over analyze situations”, this is something I tend to do a lot. Same as having a bad tendency of getting lost daydreaming and being very disorganized. On the last quiz I got 83% Slytherin and I agree with the traits associated with the house. Based on my results, a major goal of mine this year is to work on my organizational skills outside of school and at school.
ReplyDeleteThe result of my personality test was ENFP-T. I feel like this describes me well, although I tend to think that it doesnt describe me perfectly. The result of my left brain/right brain test is that I am roughly 60% left brain and 40% right brain. This does not surprise me at all as I love to read and I enjoy art & music far more than things like statistics and science. The house I most closely align to is hufflepuff, because I tend to be a caring and thoughtful person. I have a strong affinity for emotions and I value relationships over everything. In the next year, I will aim to become more observant rather than intuitive.
ReplyDeleteThe personality test said I was an adventurer and that was surprising because I don’t consider myself to be adventurous and I usually stay in my comfort zone if possible. I got 58% left brain and 42% right brain and I already knew that because I’m really balanced but with a slight tilt towards logical ideas instead of emotional. I also got hufflepuff which is described as loyal, hardworking, and fairness, and these traits do connect to me because I consider myself some of that. One goal I want to work on is trying harder in school and getting my stuff done on time since the first personality test said one of my weaknesses was that I am too short-termed focused.
ReplyDeleteI am an ENFP-T. This didn't particularly surprise me as I enjoy creativity and exploring new ideas and things. I never try to avoid people and I'm extremely extroverted. If anyone tries to spark up a debate with me I'm always ready to put down my opinion unless it's political. Never count me out of something new and exciting. What's interesting is I don't have a certain brain. I'm 51% left and 49% right which to me is basically the same as I slightly lean towards the more methodical side of things instead of fantasy. I enjoy learning new things and talking to people which provides a great balance between what I like and what others like. Finally I'm 77% Ravenclaw, this definitely surprised me as throughout the years I've always been a Gryffindor, just like Luna Lovegood I've always been captivated by the unknown and I challenge mine and others' ideas if I think mine may differ. I guess maturing can change your house.
ReplyDeleteI goal I want to work on this year is being more keen on my work and being more productive
DeleteI am a ISFP-T. I believe the quiz stating that I live with what is in the present is true. I will refuse to make a schedule of my day because it will only slow me down and confuse me as I am trying to do one thing. I will instead go with the flow. On the second quiz, I got 64% for my left brain and 36% for my right brain. Besides the math part of the quiz I could agree with the rest, and understand how I am a higher percentage on the left brain side. Lastly, my result for the house is Hufflepuff. In my opinion, I do believe I am a hard worker, come to a acceptance of what should be done, loyal, and fair with those around me.
ReplyDeleteA goal I would like to achieve this year is to stay on track with my work and do was will keep be productive and motivated.
DeleteI am an ESFJ, and I want to keep my social life, family, and workplace running smoothly. Which is very surprising to me. I put the welfare of others above mine and have genuine care for people. I thrive in structured investments where roles and expectations are clear which is also very surprising. I take pride in fulfilling my obligations I knew that. Overall, I am very organized and observant which is not a surprise to me. As for the left-right brain test, I was 50/50 for the left and right sides of the brain test. As for the Harry Potter house text I was 82 percent in the Gryffindor house. As for a goal this year continue to work on myself and live out the last year of high school.
ReplyDeleteNo idea who this is!
DeleteBlake Long
DeleteI am an ISFP, I prefer adapting to new situations and going with the flow. However, I would not consider myself adventurous, creating beauty and meaning with everything I do does not usually resonate with me. Normally, I would not say I'm spontaneous, but considering how well and fast I adapt to new aspects of life, I do agree. Being right-brained was not shocking to me because I prefer things like art and music rather than facts and numbers. On the last quiz, I got 68% Gryffindor which is what I had expected going into the quiz. I expected this because, in past sorting hat quizzes, I have always received the same answer. Getting sorted into Gryffindor represents bravery and chivalry.
ReplyDeleteMyers/Briggs and Carl Jung's Theory of Psychological Types;ENTJ-A
ReplyDelete1. telling us what was a surprise: The suggestion that I am charismatic, never really felt it.
2. telling us what you already knew about yourself that the test confirmed: I tend to be honest over emotional, logical over emotion, and like to see and keep on track to the bigger picture.
3. telling us how the traits connect to you as a person: I love being honest to people, and my ability to reign in my mind and stay on task often leaves me with a feeling of satisfaction.
4. telling us a goal that you would like to work on this year (in regards to your results): maybe try and be a little more outgoing (but i doubt that).
Left Brain/ Right Brain Test; left brain inclined, digital. lb 51%:49% rb
1. telling us what was a surprise; Nothing to be honest, I knew I was slightly inclined to logic over emotion but not overly so.
2. telling us what you already knew about yourself that the test confirmed; I am fairly balanced and am inclined to logic over emotion.
3. telling us how the traits connect to you as a person; an apt split.
4. telling us a goal that you would like to work on this year (in regards to your results).(I’d like to make it an even 50:50, but in total honesty that's just the left brain talking)
Harry Potter Housing Test: HUFFLEPUFF
1. telling us what was a surprise: It’s typically for those that are more emotionally inclined than logical.
2. telling us what you already knew about yourself that the test confirmed; Honesty is the best policy, fairness is sometimes, hard-working i’d like to think so, and accepting I will try.
3. telling us how the traits connect to you as a person^
4. telling us a goal that you would like to work on this year (in regards to your results).(Eh it was just a sorting test with no value,’sides This just allows me an excuse to hug more people so long as they are comfortable with it and give permission to.
I am an INFJ-T meaning I am a introvert which I dont fully agree with because I am a pretty social person but at times i could be very kept to myself. This means i am also a very empathetic person and try to understand the people around me. This is actually very true I love t help people in any way that I can whether that is listening to them and giving advice ot just giving them a helping hand. I am also a very creative person but all of the careers listed dont sound like me. Next I found out that I am 51% Left brained and 49% right brained which is surprising because I dont identify with anything the left brain stands for I feel that I relate more to the right brain characteristics. Lastly for my hogwarts house I got slytherin which I do agree with because I am a very ambitious and determined person. But I am surprised that I got Ravenclaw as my second and not hufflepuff. My goal this year is to think a bit more logically and less with emotion or do an even amount of both.
ReplyDeleteI am an ISFP-T. This somewhat surprised me, as most of my friends and family would describe me as more outgoing because I don’t have too hard of a time speaking to new people. As my results say, I think it’s because of how I approach them, as I enjoy listening to and relating to others as we conversate. Since I am almost exactly split between introverted and extroverted, I also agree that my need for independence might be understood because I enjoy being around people for a while until I need my personal space. Creativity such as music and writing is a big part of who I am, so it isn’t surprising that I am only 41% left-brained and 59% right-brained. I believe my empathy allows me to emotionally connect with people on a deeper level, which reflects why I understand different perspectives and find commonalities between the people I am speaking with. Lastly, I am 81% a Hufflepuff. This only somewhat surprised me because I would consider myself loyal and hardworking, as reflected in the relationships I have and the extracurriculars I participate in. Based on my results, a goal I would like to work on this year is to be more organized because I struggle with procrastination and staying focused without a set plan.
ReplyDeleteI am an ISFJ, so it is not shocking to me. I have always been a very introverted person. I care about the people I am close with and try to help them as much as I can. In large gatherings, I am usually in the back just watching everyone and observing before I go join in, it just gives me a better understanding of who I should hang out with but it also just takes a minute for me to feel comfortable in the environment. I try and stick to what I'm used to, I rarely try new things. What is a bit surprising is that I am more left-brained, because I am not very good at solving problems or able to make data-driven decisions. What they did get right is that I over analyze things which is really bad because I just hurt my own feelings and the situation I was overthinking wasn't even that bad. I am a Gryffindor, I thought I would've been a Hufflepuff because I am a very loyal person, not so much brave. A goal for this year for me would be to step out of my comfort zone try new things and talk to more people.
ReplyDeleteWhen doing these tests, something that surprised me was that I was 79% left brained. This surprised me because the left brain centers around logic rather than emotions. While I am logical, I thought that my percentage ratio of left to right mind dominance would be closer to one another. Something that didn’t surprise me was the personality type that I got: INTP-T. I enjoy understanding why people do and act the way they do from afar, so I have done this test before to understand myself more. I also scored 89% Hufflepuff on the Harry Potter quiz. This also isn’t a surprise as I believe myself to have the traits of a Hufflepuff: fair, loyal, and hard-working. In regards to my results from the Left brain/Right brain test, I hope to work on my creative and artistic side to balance the two.
ReplyDeleteI am an INTP-A, Left Brained, and a Slytherin. None of these results are too surprising to me however I am surprised by the fact that it described me as innovative and able to think outside the box because I do not believe that those traits align with me. I already thought that I was left-brained so that was not surprising since I try to be rational and use logical decision making. I also believe some aspects of my personality test were accurate, such as valuing independence, working at my own pace, and following my interests and methods. I believe that traits such as rational, ambitious, and introverted all connect to me as a person pretty well. Overall I found the tests to be fairly accurate for me. This year 1 goal I would like to work on is probably being more outgoing and kind because I believe that is one aspect I fall short in.
ReplyDeleteI am an INTP (logician), a mixture of intellectual curiosity, analytical prowess, and abstract thinking. What surprised me about the results was how accurate all of them were. I didn’t expect to have such relatable facts presented to me. I already knew that I’ve always been more of a person who leans towards book smarts, not street smarts, and the tests helped me confirm that. Almost every trait stated was part of my personality; they all connect with me through being my building blocks. I would like to learn more about computers and science together to learn how to operate and work around things online.
ReplyDeleteI am an ISFP-T, this was a little surprising to me because I find myself to be more of an introverted person who isn’t very creative. It’s not super surprising though because the test says that I find meaning in everything I do and that I have a feel of sensitivity to the world around me which I do believe both of those to be true. I was also surprised at how I was almost completely even on the Right/Left side brain test because I had always seen myself as more acting on instinct and emotions rather than as a symbolic person who’s more rational in decisions. On the last quiz, I got hufflepuff which wasn’t too surprising because I think the traits for that are connected to me as a person, I do see myself as hard-working and accepting because of how I grew up. Based on my results from the first test, this year I would like to work on being less turbulent and being more observant to things.
ReplyDeleteI am an ENFJ-A( A protagonist) showing that I have empathy and idealism, which makes sense because I am always understanding and sensing things people need before they realize themselves. I already knew that I have a deep seated desire to make a positive impact on the world around me. Something that surprised me was that I use the left side of my brain 63% more than the right side which was 37%. On my Harry Potter test I am RavenClaw house with 79%, the house of curiosity, individualism, intelligence and wit. This connects to me because I am to myself, humble, not really outgoing like everyone else, but I'm curious at the same time. I think I have great intelligence along with wit. A goal I would like to work on this year is get to school on time.
ReplyDeleteI am an ISFP. This does make sense to me because I feel like I am a sensitive person and I am more of an introvert. I like to hear what people think, but when I start to see tears I feel so bad. I am not a very organized person, I feel like I just go with the flow and don't really care. I agree with the fact that I try to understand where someone is coming from, and that I like my personal space. I was surprised with the fact that it is said I am artist and I like to take on new challenges, I feel like that’s the opposite of me. I am 53% left brain and 47% right brain, It kinda did surprise me because I am not a math person. Lastly, I am a 78% Hufflepuff, I am loyal and hardworking, I agree even tho I procrastinate I always try to get my work done on time. I goal I would like to work on this year is to be better organized.
ReplyDeleteDue to my intense love for every Harry Potter movie, I’ve taken similar tests and always ended up with the same results, Hufflepuff house (I agree every single time). Hufflepuff is surely the house I’d belong to if Hogwarts existed. I’m also left-handed so I - for some reason - guessed I’d be a left-brain inclined person, even though I know that the right side of my brain is the one that controls my left hand. But my guess was correct anyway. However, I have to accept that it surprised me a little because I thought I was more of an artistic person but the first trait that came up was Digital. I am a very organized and neat person though. I am a very observant and empathetic person which made me think I’d be a right-brain inclined person, however, the difference of dominance between the two sides of my brain was only 10% (Left 55% and Right 45%), so I could agree with that. I took the third test and when I saw the word “Protagonist” come up on my screen, I knew everything I was about to read would call me out. The reading and random facts provided by the website clearly described me. “Thoughtful and idealistic, ENFJs strive to have a positive impact on other people and the world around them.” I am a huge people-pleaser which is highlighted as one of my possible weaknesses on the website and I couldn’t agree more. This result did not surprise me at all because everything about my personality and traits was fairly right. One of the statements I agree with the most is “ENFJs possess the unique ability to remain hopeful in the face of difficulties, always remembering that there is something to be grateful for.” I am - with no doubt - the most positive person I know.
ReplyDeleteCannot give you a grade as I have no idea who this is!!
DeleteI am an ISFJ-T. I am extremely introverted when it comes to any social interaction with people I am not familiar with. The personality test stated that I have a “keen eye for detail” and an “excellent memory”, which I think both are false because I tend to forget things very easily. I like to stay close to things that are familiar to me, causing me to struggle with embracing new experiences and ideas. I was surprised with my left/right brain test, the results came out to be 62% left/38% right brain. Which is odd because I normally act on emotions and empathy for others, but I also hear from other people that I come across as unapproachable because of how quiet I am. Finally, for the harry potter house quiz I got 72% hufflepuff, I believe fairness plays a huge role in decision making.
ReplyDeleteI am ISFJ-A. What surprised me was that I am an almost 50/50 mix of introvert and extrovert. I already knew that I like to help other and the test confirmed that. Me being slightly more feeling than thinking connect to me as a person because I use both a mix of my emotion and logic when making decisions. My goal that I would like to work on this year is to embrace new experiences to enrich my life.
ReplyDeleteWhat about the other two tests? What were those results?
DeleteI am an ISTP-T, this does not surprise me and I agree with the results. I prefer to be alone most of the time and I am very observant. What surprised me is I am 58% left brain, I expected to be more right brain because I feel like I prefer creativity and art classes over math classes. I want to work on following a schedule more often, during the tests I realized I never follow a set schedule and if something comes up I will let it shift my whole day.
ReplyDeleteWhat did you get on the Harry Potter test?
DeleteI know from completing over a dozen of these tests that I am INFJ-T, though every now and then I get INFP, today was one of those days. I guess it’s a surprise that I got INFP again, this is about 2-3/15 or so tests I’ve taken and often I come off as extroverted to people. I already knew all of these things, I am by nature more introverted, intuitive, and feeling but I often push myself to improve or better myself in the weaknesses that accompany those things, and I guess the natural sides of me tend to make me a better actor and when the situation presents itself, leader, because as long as I’m not trying too hard that day I can connect better with others. A goal would be to improve at conveying what I mean to reduce misunderstandings. This year I have a heavy focus on extracurricular activities and especially art so I got a much more drastic 60/40 on my right/left brain quiz today. For some reason, it gave me Gryffindor, but I’m a Hufflepuff through and through, ask any of my close friends.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting to me that you refer to "weaknesses" of being introverted. I always find that funny when people think introverted people are antisocial and disconnected. I don't believe that to be the case at all. Introverts are guarded about their interactions, but this is from not wanting to socialize, it is from wanting a stronger, deeper connection and those social interactions to being meaningful, not superficial. I do wish you would have explained why you are Hufflepuff through and through - I would have enjoyed to hear the reasoning.
DeleteI am most surprised by being 51% left brain because I feel like I’m more emotional than logical. I wasn’t surprised by being an INFP and Slytherin because thats what I usually get on these tests. I feel like being INFP really describes me as a person because I’m an introvert and creative. I think the traits of Slytherin (ambitious and determined) kinda connect to me. A goal for me is to hold on to that determination of finishing the school year strong while also enjoying this last year with my friends and not stressing over everything.
ReplyDeletei am a ESFP-T. I was not surprised by this that much because I always knew that I was an entertainer and how I like to talk to everyone and not be shy. typical I am very outgoing and loves to talk. in the second test I am Left brain 48% 52% Right brain, which I'm not very surprised at because I love being creative but not in school, I hate most of the subjects at school and just not very good at it but outside of school based activity's I love them. what also did not surprised me is that I love music which is very true I LOVE music with a passion. but I am not much of an art kind of person so that surprised me a little bit. and last but not least I am 53% hufflepuff, I think I am that is because I love playing around but not when its not fair, fairness is a big part of it.
ReplyDeleteI am an INTP-T. I'm not a fan of social interactions at all unless it's with people I know and feel comfortable being myself with those people which I already knew I was an introvert. I got 62% on left brain and 38% on the right brain which surprised me because im nothing like a left brain i mean there is some things that i agree on left brain but not really I don’t really agree with it i save everything for last minute i think outside the box sometimes i feel for me i'm more right brain or they should be close to 50/50. Lastly I am a Gryffindor it didn’t shock me i already could feel that i would be a Gryffindor. A goal I would like to work on is my organizational skills and planning when i'm doing work and assignments.
ReplyDeleteI was not surprised to get the ENTJ-A (commander) because that's what I got the last time I took this test and in regular life, like sports, clubs, and work, I often get chosen or voted for leadership roles. The left brain makes sense since I follow some of those traits more closely and use the traits from the right side when I need to relax. And lastly, Gryffindor(84%) was not the surprising part but the order of the other houses was surprising, it went Ravenclaw, Slytherin, and Hufflepuff. I don't know much about Harry Potter, so it was interesting to see. I would like to work on being more emotionally sensitive to others as it can help empathy and sympathy aspects in conversation.
ReplyDeleteI am an ENFJ-T protagonist
ReplyDeleteIt was a surprise to find that the personality quiz was almost perfectly accurate. All of my strengths are there and almost every weakness was laid out, such as, Self-Sacrificing, Criticism-Sensitive, Overly-Idealistic, and People-Pleaser. I already knew that all of these things were my weaknesses and that all of them were stated in the test.
Most of the traits in the test connected to me almost perfectly, they really show who I am as a person. I would like to pay attention to my own personal health more effectively since I am always so focused on the feelings of others.
I am also a Gryffindor. But what is interesting is that I also got an identical score in Hufflepuff.
I think Hufflepuff matches with a lot of what you stated about your personality, it makes sense.
DeleteI am an INFP, I was not surprised because I've taken that quiz a couple times before and got the same result. A really accurate result I will say. I might be quiet and unassuming but I have a lot of creative energy and I'm very imaginative and artistic. I've been drawing for many years and I think I've gotten pretty good at it. I also have been playing violin for around 9 years. I play a couple other instruments but for not nearly as long. I feel deeply towards life, nature, and the people around me, especially my friends. I'm down to have philosophical conversations and learn about different perspectives. I'm 43% left brain and 57% right brain, this came as a surprise, i thought right brain was going to be much higher. With the right side I love drawing, music, and the arts, however I didn't expect the left to be as high as it was because I'm terrible at math and complex equations. Lastly, I'm 72% Hufflepuff, not surprised because I already knew this. I'm loyal and accepting, similar to that of Cedric Diggory.

ReplyDeleteFrom the first test given in the Blog, I got the results of being an INTP-T, or someone more interested in logic. While I do not doubt the validity of the test, my brain hemisphere tests begs to differ. The Hemisphere test shows that I am more right-sphere dominant with a score of 54 percent for the right as opposed to the 46 percent for the left, this somewhat shocked me due to the right sphere being seen as an art-inclined hemisphere. With the Harry Potter Quiz, I got what I expected, GRYFFINDOR. These tests have confirmed that though I base many things on facts backed with evidence, I also strictly adhere to my own moral compass. Some of the traits of the quizzes connect to me, for example though with quiz one it shows a more logical thinker, quiz two shows that I am bad at organization, and it shows that I favor more of orderly comfort rather than strict organization. A goal I wish to work on this year is my ability to manage my time effectively and to simply get through the year.
Myers/Briggs and Carl Jung’s Theory of Psychological Types: ISFJ-T
ReplyDeleteI wasn’t so surprised that I got ISFJ-T because I’ve done this test already in the past and I’ve gotten the same results. I was surprised though by the fact that I am only 51% introverted because I consider myself to be more introverted than 51%.
Something that I already knew about myself that the tests confirms is that I am more prone to be a perfectionist and that I am unassertive.
The traits that I got connects to me as a person because I am the more likely to avoid conflict then express my opinion on somethings. I am also more likely to value others peoples feelings and opinions than my own.
A goal that I have for myself is to be more assertive and express my feelings if I have a disagreement with someone.
Left Brian/Right Brain Test: LEFT BRAIN
I am not so surprised that I got Left Brain but, I am surprised that it says that I may be perceived as cold or unapproachable. I try to make myself be approachable for others so that they don’t think I’m cold.
Something that I already knew about myself that the tests confirms is that I am good at organizing and planning.
The traits that I got connects to me as a person because I am more likely to struggle with emotional intelligence like trying to comfort people when they are sad. And I am more likely to be more detailed oriented and focus on little details that aren’t as important.
A goal that I have for myself is to be more emotional intelligent so that I can help out my loved ones if they ever need someone to talk to.
Harry Potter Housing Test: RAVENCLAW
I am very surprised that I got Ravenclaw instead of Hufflepuff because when I do similar tests to this I get Hufflepuff. It also surprises me that Hufflepuff is my third one while Griffindor comes in at second.
Something that I already knew about myself that the test confirms is that I am intelligent and I carry a lot of curiosity.
The traits that I got connects to me as a person because I am a quick learner and I like to learn new things.
A goal that I have for myself is to be more open to working with others rather than working by myself.
I felt like some of the results were true in a way that I couldn't really explain, but I got the ESFP-T (Entertainer). I know that I am extraverted when I know people, but I didn’t know that I am 54%, and I usually don’t start conversations when meeting new people; I wait till they start them. I thought I was more right-brained than balanced. And I don’t know much about Harry Potter, but I'm in the house of Slytherin.
ReplyDeleteAnd I want to work on getting my time management on deadlines better and not accidentally miss them.
DeleteI was surprised with the first test results saying that I was an advocate(INFJ) personality type. But with more I read the more I saw that it was true about me. I know I was more of a left-brain type of person but to see the percentage to see how much of my actions are preserved by my left hemisphere (64% left and 36% right). The last test was the funnies because I like to learn new things in my free time, so the test told me I was in Ravenclaws fit. But with these different tests, the tell me that I’m empathetic and caring but I use facts to be so caring. I would like to be more outgoing to live up to that INFJ personality trait and be more talkative with others.
ReplyDeleteA surprise for me is that I got Huffle Puff on my house quiz. This surprises me because I have always gotten Slytherin on every Harry Potter test I have taken. What does not surprise me about the test is that it says I am a person with good intentions and I care deeply about loved ones. On the personality test, I am an ISFP-T. This test had the results I was expecting because it showed me how much of an introvert I am but also how much again, I care deeply about others. I believe I am a mix between both introvert and extrovert but I lean toward introvert. A goal I would like to work on this year is to become more of an extrovert and be able to do things out of my comfort zone.
ReplyDeleteI am an ESFJ-T (Consul). I am 74% Extraverted which I would say is true. The 24% of my brains right side surprised me as I thought I was more into arts and more silly stuff, but I am 76% left brain, meaning I am more organized and scheduled. The test already knew that my career path will go down the healthcare, as I have always dreamed of being a nurse and how I can take care of others while also being able to socialize. The traits do know that I am well organized of my things, but I am also an extrovert who makes friends and likes to socialize. I would like to work on being more creative for my right side of my brain. I also want to work on being less judgeful towards people as the percentage was higher than expected. I also would like to work on being more of a Griffindor as I am 85% Hufflepuff, it would help with my personality.
ReplyDeleteI am an ISTJ-T which is more accurate because at points there is times where i like to be social but i prefer to be by myself with the people I love, I am observant and I have an 85% in thinking which is my highest percentage and I think accurate because I do think rationally and base decisions more on logic than my own emotions, I am 61% on the turbulent side which I agree with because I do tend to get stressed and I am a bit success driven only due to school being downside to the drive. I am 67% left brain being more rational than instinctive and I do prefer music on the right brained side but most of the left brain I do like to confidently say is accurate. I got the Gryffindor house of harry potter
ReplyDeleteI am a more right side brain thinker; 47% to 53%. This surprised me a little bit because of how analytical I am about most things in life. However, it makes sense because I do like to be creative and find new ways to do things some of the time. The tests told me that I was a Hufflepuff and a logician, which I already knew about myself. As well, the first test told me I am 53% introverted, which makes sense because I don't like having to be in social situations about 60% of the time, but I push myself to participate. It also told me that “You’re likely self-conscious, sensitive to stress, success-driven, perfectionistic, and eager to improve” which is unfortunately very true, and something I don’t necessarily like about myself. The Hufflepuff made sense to me because I am loyal and try to do my work to the best of my ability.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteI am an ENFJ which surprises me because I never really think myself of the leading or inspiring type, I already knew I had a gift for communication with my ability to make new friends with just my speaking alone, and me being a feeling or extraverted person really connects to how i live my day to day life seeing friends at school and trying my best to help people in their needs. I am left brain inclined which kind of surprised me as I am not at all the hard working or problem solver the test says I am, though I did know that I was a planned and organized fellow, with these traits i knew i was innovative with my work.on the harry potter quiz I got Hufflepuff this did not surprise me at all except the fact it was only 77%,, I already knew i was a loyal and fair which wasnt a shock. I would like to work more on my problem and educational skills it seems based on these tests I lack those skills
I am an INTJ-T. To me this is not much of a surprise, but for most this probably is as, I am mostly introverted. I do not mind making conversation, but i would much rather be by myself or at most with one other person as social interaction while it is not bad is does not give me the same comfort as if would relax by myself or be alone. Or again with one other person, but typically one I am very too. I would say i am rather organized and decisive as being indecisive on things can often make me frustrated. I like having things planned or in some way of order as if not I can get very confused or again frustrated. Being this way allows me to feel like things will not just end up in chaos. I was HUFFLEPUFF, and I do not know much about “Harry Potter”. I do rather agree with a lot of the qualities as I would consider myself to be loyal and accepting of others. I would like to work on my ability to be open minded before making a decision as too often I will make a choice off feeling and what I feel is right rather than look at the big picture before considering other possibilities.
ReplyDeleteI am an INTJ-T (architect). I really value my own autonomy, and that shouldn’t really come as a surprise given the struggles I face if you know about them and are close to me. I dislike it when I am challenged by others or interrupted, and I especially hate it when people try to control me or work with me. I am also introverted. I may not seem like it all the time, but I hate social situations and small talk. I just can’t handle it. Being self-reliant and strategic makes sense given that I am 57% left-brained and 43% right-brained. I personally think that I’m more left-brained than that. At least 65%. Eh, whatever. Anyway, I’m in house Slytherin, the house of cunning, ambition, and determination. The Myers-Briggs and Housing tests really surprised me, as I got different results from when I first took them. Initially, my MBTI was INTP-T (logician). I feel like INTJ-T better describes me, but I also feel like a mix of both. I’m still going with INTP-T, though, because it was my first try and does describe me well. On my first attempt at the Harry Potter Housing quiz, I got Ravenclaw, but this time I got Slytherin, which is confusing, especially because I identify more with Ravenclaw. The tests definitely confirmed to me that I am left-brained and very independent. I favor my own autonomy and integrity above all else, but I am also highly logical and less emotional when it comes to most things. A goal I’d like to work on this year is being able to work with people. Working with others is scary to me, and I only tolerate it in Holocaust Studies because Ms. Cassidy wouldn’t have it any other way and I am very inclined to do as she asks. Of course, I do question, but I mostly keep it to myself. I save asking questions for authority figures I dislike.
ReplyDeleteI am an ISFP. I think this is accurate and doesn’t surprise me because I generally am very independent and like to do things on my own. What surprised me is how evenly split my brain score was, I am 51% left brain and 49% right brain which surprises me because I thought I would lean farther left than that. I was placed in ravenclaw and this doesn’t surprise me because I value individualism and intuition. I aim to become more outgoing this year and work with people I wouldn’t usually work with.
ReplyDeleteI am a ESTJ and I do believe that this describes me but not perfectly. I believe that there are other personalities that would best fit me, so this had surprised me. For the brain test I used mainly my left side. The results being 60% left and 40% right. I agree with the results as it best fits me. For the Harry Potter test I was accepted into the Hufflepuff unfortunately. It described me as loyal, hardworking, accepting, and fair. All I agree with but I wanted to be apart of Griffindor.
ReplyDeleteA goal I want to set for myself is to better save money.
DeleteI got ISFP-T which kinda surprised me because when I last took the test I got INTP, I wasn’t surprised about how it said that it meant I go with the flow cause I never really have a schedule whatever happens, happens and I wasn't surprised about the introvert part. I got exactly 50-50 on the left brain right brain so I’m not sure what to think of that but it did say the right brain dominant is more likely to daydream/zone out so I agree with that. I got 84% on Ravenclaw which surprised me because I think they’re supposed to be smart but I’m not really smart so I’m not sure what happened. The traits I got connect to me as a person because I am going with the flow and don’t have any set routines or anything. This year I want to work on turning in my work on time because I’m not good at that since I don't have a sense of urgency for it.
ReplyDeleteI'm going off of my results from the 16 personalities test. I happened to get the results of a Mediator INFP-T! Yet one thing I'd say that shocked me was how it said I'm imaginative and open-minded while also how i'm likely to value emotional expression and sensitivity..etc since I wouldn't really say I align with that. Something the test confirmed was the fact that I happen to feel drawn to calmer environments. These traits connect to me as a person because they're the traits who make me the person I am such as the trait of being able to adapt to new things and I guess you could say being easygoing about it. A goal I'd likeee to work on would have to be the whole introverted thing just due to the fact that 71% is crazy but yeah! I feel as if more opportunities can and WILL come if I work on that! BOOM. It's something I'd like to work on for the remainder of the year.
ReplyDeleteOne thing that surprised me from the Pottermore sorting quiz was the fact THAT I GOT RAVENCLAW seeing that it's the house of intelligence. It did however confirm the whole individualism thing since I'm more than able to manage myself. I'd say these traits make me who I am even if they aren't really adding up in all the subjects yet one thing I'd like to work on for the remainder of the year would have to be the whole intelligence thing seeing that I don't think it aligns in certain points.
DeleteThese results are from the Left bain Right Brain test! was the fact that my score is higher for my right side brain with the percentage being 54% while my left side is 46% One thing I'd like to work on for the remainder of the year would be my math skills seeing that I'm not the best when it comes to math. The traits for this one would have to be the most accurate when especially when it comes to the right side of my brain and talks about art as well as some what being creative.
I am surprised that my personality quiz results were so close to the middle of the spectrum, I got ENTJ-T which is a Commander, but for the percentages of each statistic, I expected them to be as close to one side as my results on the Hogwarts House quiz, which was 74% Ravenclaw. I already knew that I am Left brained, the test confirmed it with a 62% result, I enjoy science and math more than english and social studies. The traits connect to me as a person because they describe my personality and are a good way of judging how I might handle any given situation. A goal that I would like to work on this year is caring more about art and subjective opinions, I do care about other’s feelings and emotions, but I do not let my feelings or emotions have any sway in what decisions I make.
ReplyDeleteI am an ESFP-T meaning I am an entertainer and the life of the party. It also means I am very social which I partially agree with because I do enjoying talking with people. I am very talkative and can talk about anything to pretty much anyone. It doesn't surprise me because I love talking and can do it for hours, especially about topics I'm heavily invested in. Being ESFP-T has shown that I am also 60% extroverted which I'm not 100% I agree because I do like to maintain my personal space and not go out and do new things. I'm not very open to much I just relax and do the same things every day. I am very kind and social with my friends so that I can stay close to them. I am also 72 turbulent, meaning I am disordered and chaotic in a sense which I definitely agree with seeing as my room is always pretty messy, I am very unorganized unless I try and want to be, and I don't study or follow a to-do list. I also wait till deadlines to complete work, only if it's a small assignment though. I am left brained which really surprised me because it's more logical, math, analytical, and rational. I find myself to be very emotional, creative, and I have a very good memory. I use my instinct 98 out of 100 times. I am not very good at making decisions since I second guess them often. I am especially confused why I got left because of the math portion. I hate math and struggle with it a lot, but for right it is music instead. I feel I associate and connect to that aspect much more since music is something I value very much and enjoy daily. For the Harry Potter Quiz I got Slytherin. I am not surprised, more so relieved as I've always known I was a Slytherin because I've taken the true Harry Potter test before. I do not think I resemble the mean and selfish sides of some Slytherins. Or as people would say, the villains. I think I resemble their strong leadership and ambitious character. I am sometimes a rule breaker but I am very loyal to those who show that same loyalty to me. Slytherins are often lazy as well, which resonates with me very much just like I mentioned earlier.
ReplyDeleteI am ENFP-T and it makes sense fot the weaknesses since i am easily distracted and i don’t like repetitive tasks or rigid systems and sometimes i am very impulsive so yeah i think they are correct in all of those because people have told me those things which i agree with. The one thing i don’t entirely agree with is telling me i am 70% extroverted i do like talking to people and going places but i would say its more of a 50 % instead of a 70% . i use 70 percent of the right side of my brain using my imagination music, creativity and emotion which i do agree with because i usually like more creative work but i don’t agree with the math part, because i am not very good at it. I am 79% griffindor and grifindor is based on courage, chivalry, and determination and honestly idk why i land in griffindor every time i do one of these quizzes so i guess i must have at least one of these traits so im honestly the most surprised with this one
ReplyDeleteI feel like i need to work on being less distracted and more focused and methodical on projects i am working on, specifically ones that are worked on over a long period of time
I am an ISFP-T. An adventurer who is deeply sensitive to the world around me and is equally matched with my creativity. I agree with this as I am a cake decorator, my job is to be creative. I also believe that I get very sensitive when it comes to stressful situations or circumstances that involve being around a lot of people. This leads me back to being 86% introverted and 55% observant, normally I like to be alone but I often find myself spaced out observing my surroundings and others around me. In regards to this result a goal I would like to work on this year is to be more involved with people and other activities. I am 51% on theft side of my brain and 49% on the right side of my brain, I am symbolic and rational. Finally I am 89% percent slytherin. I already knew I was in this Hogwarts house because I had taken the test before. My percentage was a surprise to me, I did not believe that it could be that high but I do believe that it resonates with the traits of being ambitious and determined.
ReplyDeleteI am an ENTJ-A, which surprises me because I don't see myself as a natural leader. I know I have confidence, but I didn’t think people would want to be around me because of that. One thing the test confirmed for me is that I am brave I’m not afraid to take risks and prefer to see where life takes me instead of wasting time.
ReplyDeleteThe traits of bravery, confidence, creativity, and being easy to talk to connect deeply with who I am. I value being straightforward and dislike arguing, as I’d rather find solutions to avoid problems. I believe I can connect with people if I choose to. My outgoing and adventurous nature gives me positive thoughts about the test results.
A goal I’d like to work on this year is to be less judgmental. While I think I don’t judge people, the test suggests I do, perhaps because I tend to focus on facts rather than emotions.
I am an ENFP-T, which surprised me because it described me well in some traits but others not so much. I got 55% left brain and 45% right brain, which didn't surprise me at all because I already knew I was well-balanced. Finally, I am 80% Slytherin, and it really fits me well because of the traits of being determined. One thing I'd like to work on is managing my time efficiently.
ReplyDeleteI am a ISTP-T, is not a surprise but I am 68% introverted. I was surprised to find out that I use more of my right brain than the left, 34%L 66%R. It is shown that my brain is more focused on things that are artistic, some traits given where art, music, imagination and creativity. And last I am 68% slytherin the house of ambition, determination and cunning.
ReplyDeleteIn my personality test I came out that I am ISFP-T, which surprised me since I am not really an adventurous person, in fact I prefer to stay in my comfort zone than to try new things which is something I want to change, I agree with the test since it came out that I am introverted which is something that I would also like to change as it's something that is not natural in me, before it was easy for me to approach people and talk to them and now I can't do it anymore or it's difficult for me maybe because of embarrassment or because somehow I don't like to leave my comfort zone, but I can also say that I am creative and I prefer to enjoy the moment and let myself go with the flow which has helped me deal with every situation that comes my way. In the second test it came out that I use more the left side of my brain being 57% and 43% the right side, which surprised me since the music and emotion are on the right side which are two important traits of me, since I listen to music almost 24/7 and I could not live without music, on the other hand I am also very emotional since I feel that many decisions I make are based on how I feel at that moment, but I also agree with the test since I am very analytical and I like to analyze situations and sometimes I am very objective. In the Harry Potter test I came out that I am from the Hufflepuff house which I agree with since its main traits are being hardworkers and loyal, which goes with my values since I feel that to earn something in life you have to work hard for it and loyalty is one of the most important values to be able to keep relationships.
ReplyDeleteI am an INFJ-T. This was not a big surprise to me since I have taken several personality tests and have always gotten this one or something similar. I have always been an introvert and always have been my biggest critic. I am also more right-brained(56%) than left-brained(44%), but it is almost fifty-fifty. As for my Hogwarts house, I got Ravenclaw! I am not very surprised because I feel like I am very caring, open-minded, curious, creative, and logical which are all personality traits a Ravenclaw has. My goal for this year, regarding my results, is to keep being myself and keeping these very awesome but interesting traits with me.
ReplyDeleteI am an ISTJ. That is true since I am someone who always tries to think logically to make good decisions. The result for the left or right brain test was 68% left and 32% right. I already knew that because I tend to be analytical and organized more than creative. And I am Ravenclaw which is the house of intelligence, curiosity, individualism, and wit. All those results were similar, so I was not surprised.
ReplyDeleteI am an ISTP-T. I’m 81% introverted, makes sense because I don’t like talking much unless I really have to. I’d rather be by myself and focus on practical stuff. I’m also 71% a thinker, so I like things that make sense. I prefer having one clear way to solve a problem instead of using different methods. Just give me straight answer of what to do and I’m happy and be able to do it anytime. I’m also 89% turbulent, which makes sense because I’m super messy. Organization isn’t my strong point. Finding out I’m 50% left brained and 50% right brained was a big surprise. I thought I’d be mostly left brained because I like logic, clear answers, and don’t like questions with no right or wrong answers. I’m also not good at remembering things or creating stuff without looking at examples so that balance really surprised me. For my Hogwarts House, I always got Gryffindor before but now I got 80% Hufflepuff. I was surprised but it does fit. I prefer to stay in the background, I try to be nice to everyone, and I care about how people see me. I also really like animals so I guess it makes sense. I do have a lot of Hufflepuff traits.
ReplyDeleteI am an INFP (mediator) (I know it is shocking). I would rather not be in social situations. Nothing about the tests was surprising except the second test, which said my dominant right brain trait was memory, which is surprising because I have a horrible memory. I am 76% right brain and 24% left brain. And for my last test i'm 80% a slytherin the house of ambition, determination, and cunning. While I can see myself being ambitious and determined im not to cunning (I just dont have the time to be).
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteI am an INFP(mediator). This is not far from who i am because i am really introverted and dont like to be around big crowds especially if I dont know them. I am not one to stick to one conversation strictly most of the time, my mind wonders quite a bit I could get distracted about something or just go completely off topic because a single word was said. I am 48% left brain/ 52% right brain which isn't really a shocker to me because I prefer creative activities rather than ones that are too intellectual also most of the time i struggle with organization. What surprised me was that I was put into the Gryffindor house i would categorize myself as more of a Slytherin. From my results, a goal that I would like to accomplish would be to be more organized
I am an ENFP-A. This really shocked me since I thought I was an introvert because I wouldn't talk to people that I really don't know. On the second test I found out that I am 58% left brain and 42% right brain, and this was also a shock since I go to the objective and analyze the problem but also being sensitive and like doing things that'll calm me down. I am 78% Gryffindor and shows that I am brave and chivalrous, but I don't really know what it really means since I haven't read or watched the Harry Potter series. A goal I want for this year is to be able to turn in my assignments, so I don't fail my classes.
ReplyDeleteTo start this off I'd say that I had some pretty interesting results the first test said that I am an ESTP-T. I was surprised because I don't usually think of myself as someone who likes to lead or take risks. I thought I was more of a team player, but the test showed me I actually like to create new ideas and work more by myself. The second test put me in as Hufflepuff f. This made sense to me because I've always tried really hard to be loyal and hard-working. I care a lot about my friends, and this results from, my being all about teamwork and tying to support others. Well, these traits connected to me the last test show me that I'm right brained this fits because I love being creative through art. and being an Entrepreneur And having a right brained system means I can come up with cool ideas and find unique solutions to problems. my goals for this year after taking these tests, I want to work on being more confident in my Entrepreneur Side. I'd like to take more chances and try to lead projects, even if it feels a little scary. I'd also liked to use my creativity in a more organized way.
ReplyDeleteMy personality code is ENTP-T or debater, which the title itself is surprising because I try to just go along with whatever i am dealt and don't engage in debates or disagreements very often at all. Though I always consider myself to be introverted, I more recently have found it easier to connect to new people and make friends; I got extraverted on the quiz, and I think that reflects how I am pretty well. I also got a 90% 'prospecting' which I think is accurate because I do like to think a lot and think to myself about everything around me. 63% turbulent also reflects my personality as I do a lot of things impulsively and without thinking about an outcome. I got hufflepuff which is fine because im tired of always getting slytherin.
ReplyDeleteI want to learn how to be more intentional with everything that I do.
One thing that I was surprised about is that I am intuitive because I do need further proof of things to make sure if things will work out or not. Some things that I knew about myself were that I'm more creative or use more of my right brain (54%) and that I am introverted (75%). I do think this is a good number to show me how introverted I am because I’m just recently trying to be less introverted and be a bit more extroverted after being an introvert for most of my life. The answers on these quizzes connect to me because even though these questions aren’t meant to accurately describe you they did a decent job describing me.
ReplyDeleteMy result in the quizzes:
Right brain = 54%, Left brain = 46%, Introvert = 75%, intuitive =71%, Thinking 53%,
prospecting = 54%, turbulent = 57%, and Ravenclaw = 84%.
I am an ISFP-T. I was not very surprised by the results. I am 67% of an introverted person which I don’t find surprising since I tend to be a very shy and closed off person at first. I already knew it would say I’m an introvert. I was surprised with the left brain objective 60% left brain and 40 % right brain. I feel like I am not much of an objective person. I had already taken a test to see what house I would be in so I was not surprised when it said Gryffindors which I can relate to. A goal I have for myself is to get out of my comfort zone and do things that I typically would not pick for myself based on my comfort levels.
ReplyDeleteI am a Protagonist (ENFJ), which is described as extroverted, intuitive, feeling, and judging. This means forthright types love helping others and tend to have strong ideas and values and achieve goals. I was surprised by this because I don't think of myself as an extrovert, but when there's a group assignment, I will be the person taking charge but also maintaining everyone's right to speak. Wanting to achieve a goal goes into my Harry Potter house quiz which gave me Ravenclaw which is mostly known for its intelligence which could go together since meeting a goal in school can mean wanting that intelligence to complete or understand the assignment. Although I was surprised by being an extrovert I was shocked to get that I use my left brain more since I’m not the greatest at math and I am more of a visual learner that was a big shock but that would go into getting the result of being an extrovert. I’m not mad about my results but I would definitely try more scenarios with those qualities that were listed to get better at math and time management which can lead to being a better success in college.
ReplyDeleteI am an ESFP-A. I am not very surprised by these results although, some people may be. It is described as an entertainer or the life of the party. I really do not show that at school but anywhere else I have a lot of energy and I would say that I am very loud. I am not introverted so I can agree with being extraverted. I do find talking to people very interesting and I do not get stressed out easy. My organizing can be a lot better however. I am right brained incline. 64% Right Brained Incline. I can agree that I have a lot of empathy for people and I can agree that I have a terrible organized schedule. For the Harry Potter quiz, I got 72% Gryffindor.
ReplyDeleteOn the Myers Briggs test, I wasn't surprised to see that I got an ENTP. I have studied this before and have found that the description of this type fits me best. A big part of being an ENTP is being a problem solver, which I agree on. On the left vs right brain quiz I was also not very surprised to see that i was 55% left and 45% right because I am a fairly balanced person when it comes to creativity and emotions. I have always loved, and been good at, both music and math which is unusual because they are opposite sides of the brain. What surprised me about this test is that the cons about the left brain are struggling with emotional intelligence and being perceived as cold/unapproachable. I don't believe either of these to be true but then again maybe I am just blind to that. On the Harry potter quiz I got Slytherin which was arguably my most surprising result. In the description it says the house of ambition and determination, while i do work hard for what i have, I am also very lazy and don't do more than I have to unless I decide I want to, and I typically don’t.
ReplyDeleteMy results suggest that I am organized but I am not so I would like to work on that.
DeleteI am a ISFP-T this is slightly surprising to me beacause I do not see myself as a creative adventurer although the 81% introverted didnt surprise me. This didnt surprise me because if I could avoid most social interactions I would. I am more Left Brained inclined as it said digital 55% left to 45% right brain inclined. This also surprised me a bit since I love music and art a lot more than science and statistics. I am closely aligned with the Hufflepuff house this house is for loyalty, fairness, acceptance, and the hard working. One goal I have for this year is to be more observant and accepting.
ReplyDeleteAs a ISFP-T, my results showed that I fall into 50% of all my personality types, mainly introverted, which surprised me because I assumed I was more of the sort to keep to myself and not attempt as many new things. Left Brained, the answers, which fell into topics on the left side of the brain, like math, which I like less than music, also surprised me because I am more left-brained. Last but not least, I am a Ravenclaw, which did not surprise me because the traits listed therein exactly match who I am, especially in terms of curiosity.
ReplyDeleteThe one thing that didn't surprised me was that for the theory of physiological types it says that my personality type is a entrepreneur. which makes sense in my eyes because I'm pretty good with talking to people when it comes to thinks I like and I can be a very convincing person. The thing that surprised me the most was that for the Hogwarts test is says I was 78% hufflepuff I thought I would've been griffindor. a goal I would like to work on this year is maybe trying to become a entrepreneur and starting to come up with business ideas
ReplyDeleteMy test results from the 16-personality test were mostly expected. I got an INTJ, I am a quiet person with people I don't know, and I use my intuition much more than observations (IN). Two things that surprised me on this test was the thinking and judgment because in everyday life I think I react with my feelings in the moment rather than logic. Another thing that did not shock me was the fact that I am 72% left brain dominant, this resonates with me well because I am a very organized person and am more rational with my thinking, I also work better with a schedule or tasks. Finally, I got Hufflepuff which did not shock me because the last time I took a test like this I got the same, its described as hard working which I think I am. I am very eager when I want to achieve a goal. A goal for myself is to be more prospecting rather than judging, I feel like it's a good trait to have in regard to approaching people and mistakes/conflict.
ReplyDeleteI am an ISTP-T, and the website indicated that I excel in roles requiring quick thinking and practical problem-solving, often becoming the go-to person in crises. This surprised me because I tend to be quite anxious. I was already aware that I’m an introvert, but I found it interesting that the test showed I have a nearly equal balance between the left and right sides of my brain. I liked the tips the test provided to help me become more extroverted. Additionally, I am 78% Hufflepuff, the characteristics are loyalty, hard work, acceptance, and fairness. While this didn’t surprise me, I was surprised by the hard-working aspect, because I do not do my work until the last minute. Overall, these traits resonate with me, particularly my high levels of being an introvert and creative person since I enjoy spending time alone and expressing myself through drawing and art. Lastly, I hope to become more extroverted and reduce my tendency to procrastinate.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised to find that I am 60% left brained. I thought I would be more right-brained because I am not the strongest with writing or logic and connect better with music and emotions. I am also a ISFJ-T and Hufflepuff which makes sense because I believe I am supportive and very observant but also take things personally and don’t like change. Most of these traits fit my personality and how I am as a person. This year I would like to work on being a better writer and problem solver and really fit the left brain personality.
ReplyDeleteI’m surprised to know I’m ENFP but it also makes sense based on how creative I am and what ideas I can come up with. For the second test I didn’t know I used the left side 66% of my brain as much which surprised me because I do not like anything to do with math or something to wrack my brain. The last test I got was Hufflepuff and I agree with most of the traits that I’m given because I can see that in me. Plus people have also mentioned to me how I am sometimes. My goal is to focus on myself more and make myself successful, not to worry about anyone else.
ReplyDeleteI'm an ISFP - A which I wasn't to shocked about because I have always liked the artistic side of thing's and like to go with the flow and just have fun with what I'm doing. But I was still a little shocked because I am very introverted, and a lot of those factors require you to be more extroverted to do them properly. I do tend to guide my decisions a lot with my feelings. I was shocked with the fact that I am more left brained, I am 60% left and 40% right which I was not expecting because I feel like I have used the factors of the right side of the brain more in my life instead of the left. I am house Hufflepuff which I'm not to shocked about. I feel like I fit a lot of qualities of a Hufflepuff. My goal is to work on myself and get better at expressing myself and getting more out there.
